Hello!
This is to announce our first East Bay Queer Open Mic will be:
Friday May 22, 2026, 7:00pm – 9:00pm
At the Shotgun Studios, 1201 University Ave, Berkeley CA
Note: this is the STUDIO location on University avenue, not the theater on Ashby.
If you come on BART, go right as you exit the station, then right on Delaware, left on the bike path, right on University. On a bike, I recommend left on Curtis street to avoid riding on University.
The 51A bus stops at Bonar Street. We are also a block from San Pablo avenue.
We will be hosting your poetry reading, singing, dancing, monologue, drag, skit, etc. (Please inquire- we will have a sign up form online and on site). Bring your friends and plan to be friendly support to all who present their art!
No alcohol or drugs please…
